NOTW - Butter London's Marrow

It's been a while since I've done a new NOTD, so here's Butter London's Marrow.
I really like this deep dark purple.  I put it on for the weekend but ended up keeping it on for today because I think it's tame enough for work (or is it??) since it's so dark.  Applied like a dream and this is the 5th day I've had it on for so it lasts pretty well.  This is two coats, with a top and base coat.  Sorry, my hands and fingers are a mess lately because this past week has been super bitterly cold and windy and now my hands are totally chapped and hurting.  Argh, I always mean to put on more hand lotion regularly, but somehow it always interferes with my eating, typing, petting my sensitive-skinned pug.  Oh wells.

  1. Very pretty nail color! Do you wear that to the office? Oh and I wanted to ask, for your Iwona skull bracelet, does the skull slide around or is it set in place? And how long did you have to wait for it to arrive after customizing your order?

  2. Thanks Diana! I did wear it to the office one day (and I work in a fairly conservative office), and no one seemed to notice. It's pretty dark looking when you're indoors. But I felt like I was pushing it at work and was self conscious about it and ended up taking it off at the end of the work day.

The Iwona skull bracelet is awesome in staying in place! It almost never slides off. If you get it, keep the Iwona gold tag on the clasp. I wanted to take it off at first but I think that's what helped keep it in place - like a perfect counterbalance. BUT, one downside to the bracelet is that it breaks pretty easily because it's so dainty and thin. The first time the clasp broke and I sent it back to be repaired. Recently the middle of the chain broke when I was playing with my pug and I have yet to take it to get repaired.

The order came pretty fast. I think she has all metals readily available and even with the added length and ring sizing, it came in about 2 weeks. All in all I love her jewelry but be careful with the dainty pieces!
