Iittala Love

Gilt can be very dangerous.  Daily sales.  Having to make quick purchase decisions before someone else snatches the thing you've been eyeing for the past 30 seconds.  Well, my recent Gilt purchase finally arrived and I LOVE it.

I bought some whimsical Iittala's Taika dishes and mugs.  I'm in love with them!  They are beautiful in person and are microwave and dishwasher safe!  A vast improvement on my previous Ikea set.

Now I'm waiting for my other recent Gilt purchase, a cashmere cardigan that essentially is a giant blanket with sleeves.  I can't wait for the cold weather when I can wrap my warm snuggly blanket around me and justify it as a piece of clothing because it has sleeves.  It's basically a classier open front version of a snuggie.  Can't wait.
