YSL Glossy Stains (3, 5, 7, and 20)

So I went a bit bananas on Sephora recently and bought a bunch of YSL stuff.  I love the YSL volupte sheer candy (YSL volupte sheer candy swoon post) and had recently heard great things about their glossy stains.  What what what?!  A glossy stain?  Yes, that's right.  I'm not a huge fan of sticky glosses, but I had to try these out.  And I'm always on the search for a good stain.

So here we have from left to right (and yes my borderline OCD made me line them up just right and in numerical order): 3 (brun cachemire), 5 (rouge vintage), 7 (corail aquatique), 20 (rouge enamel).
The wand is a typical gloss applicator but it's a bit wider and tilted.  I suppose this is to make it easier to apply?  I never had an issue with the angle of gloss wands though.
And below are swatches of the glosses just dabbed on with left to right 3, 5, 7 and 20.  The texture is a bit sticky, but not that bad.  I'm probably not the best judge of texture though since I haven't worn gloss in forever as I've been rocking those YSL candies for a while.
This is after I smeared it down a bit.
And this is after I wiped them off.  You can see that they stain pretty nicely.  Almost to the point where now I'm wondering how I'm going to get these suckers off now.
They have a slight fruity smell which my pug approves of.
I'm very excited to give these a try and hopefully the stain will have some staying power.

Now please excuse me, I need to spend some time with this lil cutie because she is trying to climb all over my computer desk and causing a ruckus.
She also enjoys basting my arms, legs, and feet.  I think she's marinating me and preparing to eat me.
See the hunger in her eyes?
Update (2/9/12): I actually wrote this post last night so I tried out #5 today.  It's a beautiful berry and not as sticky as I initially thought.  I applied it very lightly and the gloss disappeared pretty quickly so I put some clear lip balm over it since my lips have been super dry lately.  The YSL candies are way more moisturizing but this stain lasted all day to a certain extent.  While the gloss faded almost right away for me, the color only faded a little after lunch.  By the end of the day it was almost gone and so it looked like I wasn't wearing anything.  But it was even better because it looked like my natural lips, only 100x better.  Like how I wish my natural lip color looked normally.  I can't wait to try out the other shades but so far #5 is a definite win for me.  A perfectly pretty pinkish berry.  <3
